Features and Applications

Actmix BCS-45/IIR is a vulcanization system composed of vulcanizing resin and zinc oxide, pre-dispersed in butyl rubber. It is used for crosslinking butyl rubber and other elastomers such as EPDM, SBR, NBR, BR, IR and halogenated butyl rubber. Actmix BCS-45/IIR is particularly suitable for manufacturing airbags and vulcanization capsules based on IIR. Actmix BCS-45/IIR is dust-free granules. This supply form not only facilitates the weighing and storage of the product, but also significantly improves the difficulty of mixing resin and zinc oxide in butyl rubber, thereby producing high-quality products. Studies have shown that using Actmix BCS-45/IIR can significantly extend the service life of vulcanization capsules. Chlorinated polymers (e.g., 5-10phr for CR, 10-15phr for CIIR) or metal chlorides (approximately 2.5phr) can be used as activators to accelerate the vulcanization speed.

Dosage: Add 15-25 phr of Actmix BCS-45/IIR to 100 phr of rubber.
Applications: Mainly used in fields such as vulcanization capsules, medical rubber stoppers and tires.
Packaging: Cartons lined with PE bags, net weight 20KG per carton; 480 kg per pallet.
Storage stability: Store for 12 months in cool and dry conditions.
